Jaan Capital Is Not: Private Equity
Your role post-sale is flexible
We aim to acquire and operate a single B2B software or professional services business and foster long-term organic growth by investing in its people and systems.
In addition to operational growth, Raj has also pursued inorganic growth and has completed four operator-led acquisitions (platform and add-ons).
We work best with founders who care about the future of their business, not just the transaction.
Most search funds are run by first-time buyers with no operating track record. Raj has led and scaled a vertical software business through significant operational investment and revenue growth, resulting in a successful exit. That changes how we evaluate deals, how we treat sellers, and how we run businesses after close.
Software embedded in daily customer operations: sticky, recurring, and hard to replace.
Essential business processes for clients under long-term, recurring relationships.
The qualities that contribute to the growth and success of a business.
Raj has led and scaled a vertical software business through significant operational investment and a successful exit. He brings firsthand operator experience, not financial buyer theory.
We offer flexibility around deal structure and post-close involvement. Founders can stay involved, transition roles, or step back entirely.
Backed by experienced operators and CEO investors who have scaled multi-million dollar software and services businesses over decades.
Strong businesses are built by strong teams. Raj prioritizes long-term trust and transparency with employees, customers, and partners.
Our approach focuses on long-term growth. We invest in what already works and build from there.
A focused, hands-on investment. Raj commits his time, energy, and capital to help the business grow through better systems, sales, and execution.
Raj started Jaan Capital after acquiring, operating, and successfully exiting SuperSalon, a point-of-sale software platform used by more than ten thousand salons. He more than doubled revenue while maintaining profitability and completing a tuck-in acquisition.
Raj brings over two decades of leadership in entrepreneurship, finance, and M&A across multiple industries and continents. Raised in Palos Verdes, CA, he earned his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his MBA from the University of Southern California.
A founding board member of YPO's Waterloo Austin Chapter and former board member of the Minnesota State Chamber of Commerce. Strategic advisor to Victoriam Equity.
Cue is part of the Jaan Capital team, responsible for deal origination, research, and financial modeling. He is pursuing his Master of Science in Finance at the University of Southern California.
As an analyst, Cue supports acquisitions through market research, financial modeling, and evaluation of potential M&A opportunities. His work also includes due diligence, industry mapping, and benchmarking to ensure every opportunity is carefully assessed.
Beyond the numbers, Cue plays an important role in founder outreach, connecting with business owners to learn their stories and build relationships. If you reach out to Jaan Capital, there is a good chance you will hear from him.
Outside of work and studies, Cue enjoys exploring new places and cultures. He stays active through pickleball, running, and skiing.
Wally is a first-generation college student whose parents emigrated from Afghanistan and settled in Southern California. His strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset were shaped by his upbringing and a deep desire to honor his parents' sacrifices.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Wally worked in software sales for over five years at HubSpot and BILL, developing expertise in lead generation, opportunity qualification, negotiation, and deal execution. He is currently pursuing his MBA at USC Marshall (Class of 2027) with a focus on entrepreneurship through acquisition.
At Jaan Capital, Wally conducts company and industry analysis, deal sourcing, and due diligence. His blend of sales experience and MBA financial training spans business development, relationship management, company valuation, and financial analysis.
Outside of work, Wally enjoys soccer, pickleball, fitness, travel, and cold plunging. He has visited 17 countries and counting.
Jaan Capital is supported by seasoned SaaS founders and executives who have built companies from $5 million to over $500 million. They bring insight and support, but this is Raj's business to lead. You are not joining a portfolio. You are joining a team that knows what it means to carry the weight.
